This month, all students celebrate the Irish Heritage
with Irish tunes.
Did you know that many instruments originated from Ireland?
Irish Harp, Bagpipe, Bodhran (Drum), Flutes and Penny Whistles, Fiddles and Banjos, to name a few. These Irish musical instruments are what give Irish music that traditional and authentic Irish, Celtic and Gaelic, rhythm and sounds.
We will focus on these fantastic Irish instruments during listening lessons. Of course, students will learn to sing some of the famous Irish folk songs and traditional dances like
reels and jigs to get ready for St. Patrick’s Day!
